Paul is an experienced Project Management Trainer and Consultant, having spent more than 11 years achieving high standards in training, course development and consultancy. Specialising in PRINCE2™, he has worked for two major international training companies and has been a freelance trainer for over 6 years. Paul is an excellent communicator with a proven track record in the delivery of Project Management training courses for diverse clients in a highly competitive market. Before entering the world of training, Paul was a Project Manager and worked as such for the UK Government, for private clients and within his own sportswear manufacturing business. This background of personal experience enables excellent rapport to be built with course delegates of all levels. Paul brings courses to life using the understanding gained in project environments, thereby enhancing theory with real-life, practical examples. This makes him one of the most sought-after trainers in the UK. An APMG Accredited PRINCE2™ trainer since 1999, he is highly experienced in the delivery of various PRINCE2™ courses (and workshops) and continues to provide practical solutions to several businesses. He also served as a PRINCE2™ Examiner between 2005 and 2008. Paul possesses the Association for Project Management (APM) Professional Qualification and the APM Practitioner Qualification, both based on the APM Body of Knowledge. This ensures that he is able to enhance his courses by linking the PRINCE2™ processes to specific project management techniques for the advantage of course delegates. Alongside his training courses – and by utilising the ‘Management by Exception’ principle of PRINCE2™ – Paul still runs projects and consults for private clients, ensuring up-to-date contact with the day-to-day challenges of Project Management. Paul was one of the UK PRINCE2™ Examiners until the introduction of computer-based marking and is still involved in the quality control of new exam papers. Paul is a keen guitar player and regularly performs live with a band.
