He is a highly competent Project Management and Information Technology consultant with over 17 years experience in the field. His has mainly been engaged in the delivery of business and IT solutions and services, as well as consultancy and training. Victor combines excellent customer-facing and skills with vast experience in the delivery of a broad range of certification-based training solutions, as well as generic courses in project management, networking and other IT technologies. He is experienced in the development and management of innovative IT solutions for businesses as well as development of project management courses. A very good team builder and team player. He is vastly experienced in the delivery to clients across several sectors of industry on multiple continents. A testament to his unique delivery skills is the high demand for his services in several countries including the United Kingdom, where he is based, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania and Canada , to name a few. In addition to PRINCE2® courses, he delivers courses based on Association for Project Management (APM) Body of Knowledge, (APM-BoK) and is a full member of the APM. Victor graduated with a with a BSc. (Hons) degree in Physics in 1983 (University of Lagos) and on relocation to the UK in the early 1990s and acquired an MSc. in Information Systems Engineering from South Bank University, London. He then had a spell in further education as a Lecturer in Electronics and Computer Engineering at the North East Surrey College, Epsom. At the college he played significant roles in overseas projects funded by the Overseas Development Authority (ODA) e.g. training programme for technicians in electronic repairs in East Africa. Whilst at the college, Victor set up a training and consultancy outfit, Onabo Consulting Ltd, which allowed him to provide IT solutions and project delivery to public and private sector organisations. This also enabled him to add high value to his delivery in the classroom. Victor made a switch to the training industry in 1998 with Parity training Limited, then a leading training provider in the UK. He rapidly established himself as a skilled and accomplished trainer and consultant. He acquired Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) status and eventually added accreditations in the project management He is also a Registered Managing Successful Programmes (MSP™) Advanced Practitioner. He has developed several bespoke courses and managed the growth of a portfolio of courses. In 2008, Victor returned fully to freelance consultancy and continues to provide high quality training and consultancy services to clients internationally. A full member of the Learning and Performance Institute (LPI), UK, Victor has also provided consultancy and training to several key organisations across various sectors and advised corporate managements on best practice and business process improvements. Victor has a passion for imparting knowledge and skills in an engaging and entertaining fashion and promoting best practice in organisations, especially in developing economies, where the project management profession is still very much in its infancy. He is committed to making EPIC Learning & Development a major contributor to the prevalence of highly skilled and qualified practitioners in all critical areas of skill shortage, especially in the emerging economies.
