Many organizations have invested heavily in Business automation to enhance their process efficiency and effectiveness. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
and other specialised business systems are now common in most competitive organizations. The implementation and routine maintenance of these systems is usually a big challenge for majority of organizations, as the business analysts and other related roles lack sound technical and professional knowledge in business analysis processes. This is one of the reasons there is growing interest in business analysis best practice.
The International Institute of Business Analysis™ (IIBA®) is a global
professional body involved in the promotion of the business analysis profession.
It administers two increasingly popular business analysis certifications i.e. CERTIFIED BUSINESS ANALYSIS PROFESSIONAL™ (CBAP®) and CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCY IN BUSINESS ANALYSIS™ (CCBA®).
